So, it is very late at night.
My friend Jono Hodge who is an actor from Aucland came through on his way to Christchurch.
I shared my dilemma (yes it is a dilemma at the moment).
He said that whilst I'm making is smaller physically, I'm not actually simplifying things for myself. Doing a little puppet show with lots of moving parts is still very complicated. And it doesn't need to be.
Particularly if I'm looking at precision, (am I still?) then I need to simplify things.
That made a large amount of sense as to why I'm still struggling with this.
Where to from here, then? No idea. But I think I can still use a lot of what I've discovered.
